Hi everyone. I️ read your rules and think this request is specific enough to comply with guidelines but if not please tell me and I’ll happily edit it.I️ recently purchased a jet ski trailer for the purpose of hauling my 13 ft fishing kayak (vibe seaghost 130). I️ am worried the current wood bunks would damage my kayaks hull and am looking for suggestions on how to pad it. Or should I️ just rip it out and replace them with padded PVC? Also, I️ am thinking about painting it black. Would a simple bed liner suffice, or do I️ need to do a primer and other layers? Further, I️ want to have some sort of storage on it. I️ was thinking of making use of the metal pole towards the front of the trailer and fashioning some sort of shelf to lock a ammo can to so that I️ can store straps and fishing supplies in.Any other general suggestions are greatly appreciated.
