Folks. I know nothing, just took on a project for my mother. They painted an entire interior 5 months ago and then decided to install crown. I've installed the crown and now need to paint. My initial plan was to mask off the ceiling then use the airless sprayer to paint the crown. Then use the original wall paint to cut in the wall to the crown with a brush. Spray is a 313 tip Graco ProjectThe walls were painted 5 months ago and I worry that the top foot of the wall will shine differently than the rest of the wall when I cut it in since it will be on top of 5 month old paint.Should I mask off the crown from wall and ceiling using 12 inch masking and then spray JUST the crown? This will literally double the amount of masking supplies.Should mask off the walls top to bottom to prevent over spray or is the 12 inch masking paper enough? I have no experience with overspray and don't know what to expect.Should i stick to the original plan and not worry about haloing? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2lxw7ss
