We need to attach a new exhaust pipe that goes from the electric dryer to the wall. It's basically a straight line from the dryer to the wall and the dryer needs to be as close to the wall as possible once the installation is complete - but still somewhat accessible for cleaning and such. The problem is that the space is extremely small. The current pipe doesn't extend/contract enough for someone to install it, hop out of the space, then move the dryer far enough back to the wall to close the door of the laundry room... We can't cut it any further, because then it would be too hard to install (not enough space for a person to sit behind the dryer). Is there a different connection technique or are we overthinking it and we should just let the pipe loop/bend?! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nbbgLG
