Hi DIY,I have had this DIY project that has been sitting dormant for almost a year since I moved into this old apartment.It's the old landlord apartment so weare lucky to have a 2nd floor.I have three paper lanterns which I used to hang with command strips hooks since they are relatively light. I also usually put hooks on the sides for some cord management since I usually run them through an extension cord since they are low wattage lightsMy issue is, is that I would love to hang them on the ceiling in our staircase. The stairs a little narrow and steep since it is an old building. Not much else going on I can think of mentioning aside from we are trying to spend as little as possible and I have seen those fancy ladders that can adjust to stairs. But there really is no point buying one just for the lights. I am also thinking of trying to devise some sort of stick that will allow me to stick hooks/ command strips on to the ceiling without breaking any bones.
