I would like to avoid the SEC regarding dealing with US investors. Therefore, I'm only looking for money from outside the US. How can this be accomplished? I know there will be some US investors who will try to invest, and I will explicitly state this is for NON-US investors only.
I do plan on getting a lawyer in the future, but do you know of any steps I can take as of right now to keep myself safe. I'm not attempting to avoid paying taxes at all. I definitely will do that. It's more about having legal issues with investors here in the states.
