Got laid off shortly after New years. Received my last check last Friday. Paid my rent on the 5th, and all of the utilities that were due. Went ahead and cancelled everything - Spotify, ipsy, and Netflix. anything that was unnecessary. After paying all of my bills and making sure everything was taken care of that needed to be taken care of, I only have $50 to get me by . that's for groceries, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, etc.
Already called my local food bank and they only give out food on Mondays so I will have to wait until next week for that. Already applied for food stamps but I don't know exactly how long that will take for me to receive them if I do receive any. Never been in this position before, so I could really use some help on how to make my last fifty bucks stretch.
