I am moving to Saint Louis from Charlotte and I am looking for some advice about affordable moving options and tips. I don't really have that much stuff (One Bedroom apartment) and I am debating whether it is worth it to move some of the bigger items. I have an Ikea mattress and bed frame that is about a 2 years old ($500), a free but well maintained Ikea couch and chair, and free Ikea kitchen table with stools. I am trying to get the move under $1000. Is it worth to spend the money to move these 'inexpensive' items?
I took a look at the moving subreddit, but it just looks like it is just a place for people to post ads for moving companies. Has anyone had any good experiences with movers?
