Hi, sorry about any mistakes - this is my first time posting here... I tried to post in health insurance but it was downvoted and no answers. Maybe here might be better?
Basically I can't afford this, I just emptied my savings yesterday because my car broke down. I have health insurance but this is probably out of network since it was out of state. I'm also moving to my family in FL, in 6 months, so I need to have about 3-4k at least. I'm at a loss as to what to do. I went in for a severe panic attack (I've never had one before.)
The EKG was $1,971. IV Therapy $2,504. Laboratory listed $3,199. Emergency room $1,882. Pharmacy $217, Radiology $844.
They made an adjustment of 8,485.41. Sorry if this comes off as really stupid, I'm 23 years old and never had to deal with this before. Is this extremely expensive or is it just normal in 'Murica? I make around 1.2k~ each month and pay 400 in rent and other bills to help my mom.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Advice? Desperate for help. I'm going to get a second job. But what else can I do?
