I just found out from my mom that my sister opened up a credit card in my name six months ago. My mom has been making the payments on it; the balance as of today is $812.00.
I’m a college student, currently, and I can’t allow my credit to become sht just because my sister is an utter and total selfish btch. I’m worried that she might do other things, now that she obviously knows my social security number. A few years ago, she stole my debit card numbers, too, so this isn’t the first time.
What do I do in the future? I can see this getting really ugly if I have to notify police if she ever decides to pull this, again. I don’t see any other options. It’s not fair for my mother or myself to pay for her identity theft.
