I'm planning on making a custom twin-head LED site light like this one, only smaller so I can have it on my desk.I'm not sure how to tackle the electric components of this project, though. Can I get the basic LED components without having to buy an actual lamp along with it? If so, is it safe to make the lamp plug to a socket even though I'm not an electrician?
