I'm paying $800 a month for school and I'm tired of being stressed out over money plus classes.
I'm cutting down to part time for the remainder of my time there, so I have the rest of the 2017-18 year and next school year before I graduate. Right now I'm working on a financial aid appeal to see if they can give me another grant to bring my payments down.
I'm going to work more now that I have more time. My current job is okay, I just want to make more money. I'm hoping now that I've switched to part time I can work at least 5 days of the week, and we have decent hours. During peak times and holiday seasons, I'm making at least 700-800 a pay check. Off season around 500 a pay check. I work part time in a restaurant and a busser.
Right now I barely have any money due to school, this month I was just able to afford presents for my mom and sister, and I just don't like that. Off season is when I'm really worried about money.
I'm applying to other jobs and things but do I was hoping to get some pointers from others. I don't need to be wealthy, I'm way far from it! But I do want to have enough for school each month, put some away for savings and have enough left over to cover other things. I don't pay bills or rent; my other expenses are my credit cards (2) and they have fixed $25 and $50 dollar payments and my dog.
