Another plug for having an easily accessible emergency savings account. As a homeowner you always have to be prepared that things will break. But it’s never pleasant when things break ONE RIGHT AFTER ANOTHER. It’s like everything in my house suddenly threw up their hands and said Fuck this shit I’m out.
A couple appliances here. Some unexpected medical bills there. A sprinkle of furnace repairs. A touch of clogged pipes and a couple other things that things that Just kept adding up.
Thank goodness for a savings account
