http://ift.tt/2AI7UWB is a utility Room that holds our gas furnace and gas water heater. It is open to the outside via a louvered door barely seen at the back right of one of the photos. That door opens out to our front step.I’m looking to better insulate the wall pictured on the right. There is a wire for the thermostat in our entryway that runs through the wall. I can touch the wall inside the house and feel it is very noticeably colder than any other wall and I feel that the radiant cold is actually causing the thermostat to misread the indoor temp and trigger the furnace a bit more often than it should. I’ve plugged the hole itself with some closed cell foam as it was easy to feel a draft coming through the hole.Just curious what anyone thinks is the best way to do this. Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2B6n2zT
