Hey, I've just broken my screen opener tool for mobile phones - one of plastic arms is broken, so I decided to repair it by myself instead of buying a new one. It looked like that (sorry for the quality :P) http://ift.tt/2j94S64 So firstly what I did was to take this yellow handle and see the inside. There was lots of crushed plastic, so I just got rid of this. I was considering just gluing all together, but this wouldn't be a good option, so I decided to do it "in a good way".I took my hot air station, melted the plastic and connected to each other, so it looked like that: http://ift.tt/2zhGrMu But in my opinion it couldn't open a next phone, it just would break again, so it needed to be supported with some more plastic. Anyway, there was some plastic missing too (due to break). And I was just thinking where to take plastic to melt from, and then I looked on my bottle of water... and took its cap, melted and mixed up to the tool. The effect was: http://ift.tt/2j7Q6MP it was the time to take a file and make it smooth. Afterwards I used glue to glue back the yellow handle, so the final looked was: http://ift.tt/2zhlHVk it was finished, but not tested yet, so it's time to find out if it works. I took broken iPhone and tried...effect how you can see, works :P http://ift.tt/2j9kre1 hope you liked my job, maybe it's not superb job, but i've tried my best.Bests via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zgAX4E
