Any ideas on how I can tell my family I want to sit out Christmas this year because I can't afford to get 6 people gifts? I was thinking I would still show up after they open presents, but I want to find a way to avoid the expense of presents without making them feel guilty and having them get me presents? I have had some struggles this year and it would really help me catch up if I lived very very frugally the next few months. Is there an effective way to say "I'd like my Christmas gift this year to be no Christmas gifts?"
