Hi,I'd appreciate some help. I moved into a new house a couple of months ago and last week (during the really heavy snow in the UK) noticed a damp patch on an internal wall in the kitchen from the floor and up a few inches. It's not wet to the touch but is obviously discoloured. The wall is right next to my washing machine but I can't see any evidence that it has leaked. The patch has approximately doubled in size since I first noticed it and there is what I originally thought was white mould on the area but further research leads me to believe it may be salts as the 'mould is crunchy to the touch.I don't know if a photo would help or any further info? I'm not sure what I'm doing but I wanted to at least try to work out what the issue is before thinking about treatment. Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2Bkm0gF
