I moved into a new house in the summer, and now winter has hit it is obvious the construction of the conservatory was not the best, and there is a serious draft coming in. The plastic panel fittings are poor, and creates gaps where the cold air is coming through. Also, there is a doorway that used to lead to a car port (now converted into a garage, barely), with a gap in the covering at the top where cold air also freely gets in. Two questions - what should I use to seal the gaps? Should I remove the covering and use a mastic or similar? Second, are the vents on the second photo exposed deliberately for ventilation, or could I cover these also? Thanks for your help. Images via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2BHe901
