We are renting a house that has a nice, framed back porch that I would like to screen in for 2 primary reasons:The house is small (~875 sq feet) so we want to utilize this area as usable spaceWe have two cats that are used to having more space to wander around in. Our last house was ~1900 sq feet with a full rooftop patio and small, enclosed backyard they could utilize. This is only a temporary rental and we will be in it for less than a year. I don't want to alter the porch too much due to the time, cost and effort for something that we won't be in long term.I have looked online and have seen that one option would be to create screened frames to install in the window areas but not sure if there is an easier/cheaper method that will still work for our needs. The easiest method would be to just staple screen around the frames but I'm not sure if that makes sense. What other options may be available? I have seen the Screen Tight options at Home Depot but that's more money that I want to spend for a short term solution. Here are a couple shots of what we have to work with.Porch Shot 1 (with said cat)Porch Shot 2 via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2yd3u7t
