Well, unlike other people who worry about getting kicked out I am held captive in an awkward position.

My parents want me to stay home until I graduate from University. Now to be honest this was kinda my plan in order to save some cash, but every now and then my father will hint that right after I graduate and begin working, he would purchase a home hours away from my intended university (Note: We are currently renting) and saying along the lines that I would have to pay a considerable amount of the mortgage while I am still at Uni. If I disagree then I will have to move without any financial support from my parents.

Now I don't want a million dollar debt over my head for a home that is not even mine, I would have to split the cash between my siblings if I sold it. My plan was to stay for a while and pay a good amount of the rent and help around the house doing my own business, saving cash at the same time. But paying for a mortgage in one of the worlds most expensive city is a bit too much. So is it financially better to move, or stay?
