I bought my Razer Blade Pro laptop at the beginning of the year and have traveled quite a bit with it since then. I always carried it in a pretty nice Swiss backpack that holds laptops, but I think it was meant for <= 15" laptops. A 17" fits, but it is pretty tight and doesn't have much padding. It is something that concerned me, but apparently not enough to act on it.
As expected, my luck ran out yesterday at the Denver airport. Hung it on a hook about 5' off the ground, fell off said hook, and onto to the ground. Bent the case pretty good and cracked the screen.
So now I am in the market for a nice messenger bag that is really well padded and is meant for a 17" laptop. Browsing through Amazon, I haven't seen hardly any listings that show the inside of the bags and typically just say "padded" which is pretty vague.
Any suggestions?
