For christmas I'm thinking about getting my boyfriend a BIFL pair of leather shoes, but I'm not sure where to start. He currently just wears Sperrys all year round, and buys a new pair every year and a half because, well.. they're sperrys.
I'm looking for something more modern/metro or classic casual, but if it has tassles a la the 80's, I'm gonna have to say no. Not looking to wear it to black tie events, just to/from the office and a bit around town. The amount of care required isn't an object, and I'd prefer something where the sole could be replaced.
