If I buy a stock at $100 and set a sell limit at $99 then I can protect myself from any major losses. I would lose out on the dollar x amount of shares bought and buying/selling fees. So why don't people pump money into a speculative stock and set limits. Wouldn't that be minimal losses with the ability to take a risk to make money? You also buy back in at a lower price.
