We realize this is a huge problem and are in the process of consolidating it and paying it down hopefully in two years as our financial situation has drastically improved in 2017. Then our only debt will be the car loan and mortgage so very exciting. My cousin who is wonderful like a sister to me is a financial planner. She wants to work with us. I totally trust her but am embarrassed to let her see our financial status. She always says carrying credit card debt is the stupidest thing ( I know) and I haven’t told her what our situation is. But I think we might be passing up a really good chance for her to make out money work better for us over pride. Should we bite the bullet and confess our dirty secret?
