Im moving to miami, I make about 130k a year. For a decent home in a "safe" area you are looking at 600k for a home. I cant afford that. I would prefer to stay around 300k. But that gets you a 1 bedroom 1 bath 800 Sq ft place. The median income in the county is like 50k, how the hell does anyone afford to live there. The people that wait tables, and teach kids and fight fires, these people all presumable live there, how does anyone do it. Are people just living way outside of their means? How can housing prices continue to rise when 90% of the population cant afford it?
