Hi there. One of my parents who is 62 years old and a small business owner that makes about 60k/yr is facing health insurance costs of about $1,200/mo.
There's only one provider in the Obamacare marketplace and they have a deductible of about $15,000. It's insane.
They tried to look at those 3 to 11 month plans and they were similar and now they're getting harassed by phone calls from salespeople pitching them plans.
They're very overwhelmed and I'm not there to help them so I'm not sure what to do. There's no way this plan can help them at all with their healthcare needs.
