I recently bought an unfinished oak table because I wanted the wood to remain as natural (light) looking as possible and didn't like the yellowish stains or protective coats. So I got the table, bought a spray can of 'woodprotector' (water based impregnation agent) and started sanding the table with 3M P240 sanding paper. However, the wood seems to remain too rough for my liking even though I thoroughly sanded. Should I do a rough sanding first? Should I use an excentric sander? I did it by hand so far. This is what I'm talking about. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zotMWI
