Hey guys,I'm getting ready to tackle putting bamboo flooring onto stairs. I have bought glue for gluing my solid strain bamboo T&G boards down onto the stairs but had some questions:Since the boards are glued down, do I have to compensate with expansion space on the sides of each stair?Since the boards are glued down, do I have to compensate with expansion space towards the back of the stair (where the next riser begins)Do I need to do shoe or quarter round molding on the stairs? We were trying to do this without any of that type of molding. The rest of the room itself will have 11/16 base trim (no quarter round or shoe molding in the room itself) to allow for the 1/2 inch expansion gap around the room.Even with glue, should I still use my brad nailer air gun to run some 2" brad nails into the sides of the boards to help secure them? Is there a different nail I should use?Thank you for any insight.Carsontl via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ka3nbo
