I love BIFL items, but sometimes they can be quite expensive because they're high-quality and/or investment items. I'm willing to spend that money on myself, but I'm not going to ask my secret santa to get me $200 boots for Christmas.
I don't normally receive or give gifts above ~$30 except for with my SO. And some of the cheaper items are (quite frankly) boring. I love my Corelle plates, but it's not really a fun present to give or receive.
What are some fun BIFL Christmas gifts to give, or to request when people ask you what you want?
