So here is the deal: I need to move out ASAP for various reasons, but I don't really want to rent. I am in a position where I can try to buy a small place, so I need info on what to do because I have no idea. I tried a few read ups, but there isn't really a clear answer. I need to know what I need to do to get a good house and at a good price
My Financial Situation
No student debt (college graduate with engineering)
Working car (making payments on insurance and stuff)
$60,000 per year (+20-30% profit share starting in 2019)
$10,000 in stocks (mainly General Electric and Johnson&Johnson)
$2,000 in savings
I am looking in Connecticut, specifically on the shore, but have no idea what to do! I went on zillow, found a cute condo in gilford and put my name and email down. WITHIN MINUTES a realtor texted me and I have NO idea what information I need to ask. I know full well a realtor can be as bad as a scam artist, and I don't want to lose all my money on a bad deal.
