Hello everyone, I'm a graduate student from Lubbock, TX, USA. Recently I had an appointment with my dentist regarding wisdom teeth extraction {I was referred by another dentist }. And here is the estimated cost:
- Exam limited problem focused : $80
- Deep sedation/General Anesth each 15 min: $226
- Therapeutic Parenteral Drug, Single admin: $57
- Deep sedation/General Anesth each 15 min: $226
- Removal of impacted completely bony: $522
- Removal of impacted completely bony: $522
- Removal of impacted completely bony horizontal: $624
- Removal of impacted completely bony horizontal: $624
Total: $2881
My health insurance is from Blue cross blue shield of TX (not sure if they will cover anything) and I have a dental plan from Delta care (they will not cover).
Is there anything I can do to minimize the costs? {like is there any insurance that I can consider for oral surgery}. Any suggestions will be very appreciated. Thank you everyone.
