Short and sweet:

I've never had money before, so I've never even thought about investing or saving. But, after the unexpected loss of a parent, the heirs are being paid equal parts of the estate's value (20,000 each).

What should I do? I'm kind of in a unique living situation. Not paying rent because I'm work trading at a hostel, only bills are phone and insurance. I'm in my mid 20's if that helps.

Thanks, r/personalfinance !
