Original post.The issue with water coming from the tap is solved. It was user error. The hot and cold taps opened opposite ways. I had the hot tap open, and since the hot water wasn't (and still isn't) running, water would only come out when the faucet filled with cold water because I had it running in the sink.However I still have no water coming from any hot tap in the house. I replaced the hot water shutoff valve coming from the hot water heater, because a few people suggested it may be stuck in the off position or clogged with sediment. Unfortunately neither were the case, and It's still not working.I am going to call a plumber today. I am just wondering if anyone else has any last minute ideas or suggestions I could try before I do.
