Today I was told that due to a lack of work for me to do I would be getting let go, I was also told that at some point mid next year I would be brought back in in a different position.
I have no ill will toward the company as the other members of the (small) staff were nothing but nice to me and complimented me on the work I done.
My question is: Should I not wait for this offer that I am to expect next year? I have enough savings that I could survive off of a part time job until at least then but I am worried that it will look negative to future employers that I went back to a low earning job after my current specialised one.
