About 4 months ago, I finally started saving for an emergency fund. This week, I just hit $1,000.00. Also this week, I got a bill from the hospital from my visit last week and have to drain about half of it to pay what my insurance didn't cover. I'm happy that at least I don't have to add it on my credit card, but it's so sad to see the fund go when I just hit a major milestone :(
