Hello everyone!I recently purchased a home that has a rather large driveway (35' L x 20' W; max height = 5') that is cut into a hill side. The existing railroad tie retaining wall is approaching the end of its life and from my initial estimates a standard stone wall is vastly out of my budget at the moment. So here I am, seeking some guidance with cost efficient solutions for my predicament.Currently I am looking into using corrugated steel decking with timber posts. The steel would obviously require some form of treatment or a liner would be installed to reduce the chance of ground water corroding the wall.If you have any input on this idea, or other solutions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xKfqlS
