Hello Everyone,

My dads owns a cabin out on one of the Gulf Islands off the coast of Vancouver Island BC.

All the water in the cabin comes from a well system. However there is Turbidity in the water which isn’t poisonous or hazardous but it’s definitely inconvenient. For those of you that haven’t heard of Turbidity it’s basically extremity find sand or clay that is mixed in the water to give it a grey and cloudy tint. It’s so fine it floats in the water and takes a long time to settle.

We have been trying to come up with a way to filter this out and we have gotten quotes for filtration systems but the filters for these systems are outrageously expensive and don’t last too long.

Do any of you know any home brew options or anything that would be able to filter this Turbidity out to make the water clean and drinkable again?

Thanks!
