So, I read all the previous posts regarding Washer and Dryer in BIFL and any other sub that I could find. From reading all the posts, it seems like Speed Queen is the way to go. Speed-queen Washer and Speed-queen Dryer
I went to Bestbuy, Home Depot and few local stores yesterday to learn more about washer/dryer to decide on one. In Bestbuy/HomeDepot, they suggested LG or Whirlpool. In LG, specifically WM30670HVA and in Whirlpool's WFW85HEFC.
Speed queen is little on an expensive side for me. There is no discount but on the LG and Whirlpool I could get some discount through my office programs.
Now, my questions are:

People who own speed queen, how loud are washer and dryer? I have to install it in the top floor.

People who have LG-WM30670HVA, have you had any major problem with them? I am asking cause when I read comments in the HomeDepot and Bestbuy, it seems like it has a leaking problem.

What other LG models do you recommend?

People who own Whirlpool, is it a good choice? which model do you recommend?
