I'm looking for some older used Stand Mixers to compliment my tiny kitchen. I've taken a look at the current models and the price is simply too expensive for me to afford. Are there any older models out there in the ~$100 range that would last me a good while?
I've seen a few kitchenaid K45's on my local Craigslist for ~$120, but they are missing essential parts like the attachments or even the mixing bowl, or if they are cheaper they are advertised as broken. I don't know enough about these to know if you can replace those with newer parts or something, or if repairs are easy/cheap. In general kitchenaid seems to be the sought after brand, are there any others I can look for, or any specific models that maybe fell out of general demand for one reason or another? The few posts I found here already just seemed to focus on metal vs plastic gears on newer models, completely irrelevant for vintage models.
