I wasn't sure who might be able to help answer some of these silly questions I have, then I thought of the frugal people... they know everything!
SO is 6'2" and is sick of bending over to get the milk for his coffee (yeah, this is what I'm dealing with), he mentioned a side-by-side or a freezer on the bottom. Both of us have only ever owned freezer on the top style, but I housesit and have minimal experience with the other two styles.
I love to pack the freezer full. I sometimes have 1 (or even 2 occasionally) whole birds in the freezer along with a bunch of other meats and meals. Short of bringing a frozen chicken (or chicken sized balloons maybe) to the appliance store I am hesitant about selecting a new fridge. I'd hate for the salespeople to question my sanity!
So, basically I want to know what you guys think of different freezer styles? pros & cons of the different style? and most importantly... am I overthinking the freezer situation?
