I tried this out yesterday and wanted to share this idea for those who haven't thought of this.
I had a candle that I really liked, but there wasn't enough wick left to light it once there was about 10-15% of the candle left. I loved the scent so much that I saved the candle despite not being able to burn it.
Yesterday, I took a paring knife to cut around the perimeter of the jar, then took the knife and cut the wax into quarters and popped one of the quarters out and into my melter. It melted just fine and I got to enjoy the great scent again!
