Hey so first time poster, correct me if this is in the wrong sub.

I am currently working for a auditing company that travels from store to store counting stock. It's a 0 hour contract and basically what I'm doing around university.

I've recently been given the opportunity to start driving for them (e.g. driving our workers to different stores). I said I'd have to wait until I changed my insurance (I have only the regular insurance right now that covers everything but using my vehicle for work). When I told them this they asked me why and I said I wasn't covered to use my vehicle for work. They told me that I didn't need to change my insurance to drive for them as technically I'm just chauffeuring people around and lots of the drivers now don't have that kind of insurance either.

Is he right? Or are all of the drivers right now lying to their insurance?

Again, tell me if this is in the wrong sub and I'll move it I just didn't know where else to ask. Thank you for any feedback, I really appreciate it.
