I know the basics - I need to find the resonant frequency by ticking the glass and doing a spectrum analysis, and then play it with a tone generator. My problem is that I would like to do that at home with minimal equipment, and so far I had zero success. So what I would like to know is - how strong do my speakers have to be? Does my microphone have to be very good, or is my phone recorder good enough?
