My gaming/dining table! This is my first big woodworking project. The base of the build started here. Attached in the video are the plans and such to get started. I changed the plans slightly by extending the width of the outside of the table by .75 inches all the way around to enable me to place a 3/4 inch quarter round along the perimeter of the table(Much softer on the forearms while playing games.)The total measurements of the table are 5’x5’ and the middle play area is 4’x4’.The stain is Minwax espresso. I put on three coats of polyurethane.Total cost of materials from Lowe’s was approximately $350. Way better than the $1500 plus dedicated game tables and it took about 3 days to build. Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns/comments/critiques.Like I said this is my first big woodworking project and I know it’s not perfect by any stretch, but I’m pretty proud of it. I hope it can help others see it’s definitely doable. Just be patient and move slow. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2lmHpSP
