I recently changed jobs but the work at the new job isn't as rewarding and I am also working with dangerous materials. I'm starting to regret taking the new job but it pays so much better. What should I do? Do you think it's possible to go back to my old job? Should I look for a new job? The two things I hate most is the drive and working with dangerous materials. I thought I would be ok with both of those but they really bother me now. The change took place 3 weeks ago.
Old Job:
- Salary: $68,000
- Bonus: up to 18%
- Travel Time: 5 min one way
- Hours: 5 8 hour days
- On Call: every 6 weeks
- 401k: 3.5% match plus a guaranteed 7% not matter what
New Job
- Salary: $90,000
- Bonus: up to 6%
- Travel Time: 45 min one way
- Hours: 4 10 hour days (3 day weekends)
- On Call: none
- 401k: 5% match
