I have a TARDIS desk lamp that uses a laptop charger style plug that requires a separate adaptor to be plugged into the wall, however this was broken in a recent move. Since then I have tried purchasing a replacement but since I don't know the correct name for it I have been unsuccessful in my search. As such I would like to know how I would go about changing the end of the current cable to plug directly into the wall. I have attached a picture of the cable in question and hope someone has some advice that I could use. I should probably add that I have no real experience working with electrics before.http://ift.tt/2y2GpI0 for reading! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2hO9Rvy
