Hi Guys and girls. I know you all love pointing out what is wrong with DIY projects. Now I need to put that skill to good use and get some useful feedback on the quality of a "professionals" work. AlbumEarthquake damage meant our concrete chimney was removed to below our roofline and concrete tiles were used to fill the gap. That contractor did a really neat job. I hired a contractor to re-instate the flu and install new flashings etc. To me it looks like he has done poor job.Is what looks to be standard silicone ok on the flueIs the lack of mortar going to be an issue for water ingress? This is in New Zealand and in a region with strong winds. If you need any more photos or info please let me know. Your opinions would be appreciated.I would post pictures of my other DIY projects but they have to be finished and I tend to never fully finish my projects. Full bathroom remodel to be posted in the near future. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2yCN8FM
