I'm looking for a better job, but they're slim pickings here. It's just my daughter and I, and we're estranged from our messed up family. If I were a woman, IL would be more helpful with things, but single dads have less support in this state. I'm heading to the pawn shop after work to sell whatever might be worth something, but I'll be lucky to get a hundred bucks. Work won't advance me any pay either. Daughter's mom didn't do anything at all for her birthday a couple weeks ago, so the little extra I had towards this bill (130) went to her instead. I know I've painted myself into the corner I'm in these days, but I'm desperate to not have us take cold showers for the next 2 weeks. If anyone has any ideas at all I'm all ears.
