The spouse and I have almost gone through our staples of rice, flour, sugar, detergent, soap, etc. after three years. We currently have access to Costco, but Costco is 75 minutes away. By contrast, Winco and Sam’s Club are half an hour, in the same city.
I’m wondering if there’s commonplace knowledge of which of the three is best. I see so many of you talking about comparisons to Aldi, but I’ve never lived close to one, nor heard about it until this subreddit. I use a lot of spices in cooking, so I will always be going to Winco for those. I also got to go to Sam’s Club once on a special free entry day, and it seemed nice.
Is the drive to Costco still worth it? Or should I stick to Winco or invest in Sam’s Club?
