So, I have a son who will be 16 in several months and I've already talked to other parents about their horrors of sticker shock when insuring their sons. My question is this: is there a way to search for what vehicles will be cheaper to insure than others? I know already that sports cars are out, tuner type cars, etc. What "grandpa" car would be worth it? We currently have a 10 year old Camry we're thinking of gifting him, 4 cyl auto, but are their cheaper vehicles to insure? Thanks!
