I live in a high cost area and want to know if I can afford to upgrade my existing house .
Current house is worth about 900k and I have a 500k loan on it. I want to buy a house for around 1.4m. Income is around 250k a year and I have about 400k in savings. No other loans. Property taxes are around 1.3%.
